Singapore's Forest Town
Tengah is Singapore's newest HDB town, branded as the "Forest Town" for its emphasis on greenery, car-free town centre, and sustainable design. The first residents moved in around September 2023, with the town eventually planned to house over 42,000 homes across five residential districts: Plantation, Garden, Park, Brickland and Forest Hill.
As of 2026, no dedicated swimming complex has been announced for Tengah. However, Sport Singapore's masterplan aims to provide sports facilities within a 10-minute walk for most residents by 2030. The upcoming Jurong Region Line (expected from 2027) will significantly improve connectivity from Tengah to nearby towns with swimming pools.
In the meantime, Tengah residents have several options within a short drive or bus ride: Choa Chu Kang Swimming Complex (wave pool), Bukit Batok Swimming Complex, Jurong East Swimming Complex, and Senja-Cashew Swimming Complex (infinity pool and jacuzzi at standard pricing). All are ActiveSG facilities with the same affordable entry fees.

We teach at Choa Chu Kang and Bukit Batok for families in Tengah. Both pools are a short drive or bus ride away.
